Hello, September! We hope everyone is staying well and enjoying the last days of summer. Autumn is nearly here and we are looking forward to the season change as well as releasing some new video and image galleries we have been working on for you that we are very excited about and think you will be too. First up is 18th Century Indian Gouache, a colorful collection of gouache-style (or opaque watercolor) paintings from late-18th century India depicting various trades, vehicles and costumes from the time. New to our History category is Vintage California, a gallery comprised of photochroms of California’s stunning landscapes and architecture from the turn of the 20th century created by the Detroit Publishing Company.From one of the most influential Spanish artists of all time, we now have Goya Illustrations which is an assortment of etchings and prints from Francisco Goya’s famous collections “Los disparates” and “La tauromaquia”. Moving from European art to Asian art, we have 19th Century Chinese Paintings which is a colorful selection of paintings from 19th century China. Lastly, Civil War Drawings is one of our newest galleries in the History category. This series of drawings are depictions of the American Civil War by Adolph Metzner who served as a captain in the Union Army, 32nd Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
